  • The Biggest Fish Story

    October 18, 2020
Don Pickel will be out Guest Speaker October 18 to December 6. He is going to continue his series in the book of Jonah this Sunday. He shared 2 messages in March before COVID hit. Join us!

Don and Carol grew up in Moncton, NB. After receiving their missionary training, they applied to Gospel Missionary Union (now Avant Ministries) serving in Columbia, South America and later in recruitment of missionaries in Canada and northeast US. They resigned from Avant Ministries in December, 2010 after 40 years of service as God was leading them to work in Cuba.
Their call from God to serve the churches in the Eastern Baptist Convention of Cuba led them to apply to ASSIST Canada where they are currently serving. Their principal ministry is raising funds (although the Lord raises the funds) to assist the Baptist churches in eastern Cuba by providing funds for church construction, benches, Sunday school rooms, etc. They are currently living in Winnipeg, MB
